Long range jets are among the aircraft Jet Charter Europe arranges for trips to, from and around Europe. The types we arrange seat 11 to 19 passengers, with published ranges from 4,500 to 8,200 nautical miles. Which one suits your trip depends on the passenger count, the baggage, the distance and the airports at both ends.
Typical Aircraft
The types we arrange in this category are Bombardier Global 5000, Bombardier Global 5500, Bombardier Global 6000, Bombardier Global 6500, Bombardier Global 7500, Bombardier Global 8000, Bombardier Global Express, Dassault Falcon 6X, Dassault Falcon 7X, Embraer Lineage 1000, Falcon 8x, Gulfstream G500, Gulfstream G600, Gulfstream G650, Gulfstream G700, Gulfstream G800 and Gulfstream V / G500.
When a Long Range Jet Fits a Europe Trip
With most aircraft in this category, New York to London or Paris can be flown in one leg, depending on the winds, the load and the routing, and every major city in Europe is within range. From the West Coast some types make the crossing without a stop and others need one, and your advisor confirms which before you book.
Cabin size, baggage space and range vary across these 17 types, so send us the details and we will narrow the list down for you.
The runway a particular aircraft needs is calculated by the operator for that day’s conditions, and your advisor confirms it with the operator before anything is booked.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Europe-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
In London, most private flights use Farnborough or Biggin Hill, and in Paris, Le Bourget. Most of Europe’s main airports need a slot or the airport’s approval for each flight, and many restrict flights at night, so we plan your times around them, and which operator flies each leg of a trip inside Europe depends on the route. Winter fog can affect London, snow shapes trips to the Alps, and air traffic control strikes can disrupt flights, so your advisor watches the forecast and strike notices before you fly. Summer on the Mediterranean books up first, and the routing and any fuel stop on the Atlantic crossing are confirmed with the operator before you book.
