Bordeaux Wine Festival

Enjoy some of the best wines in the world with a private flight to France!

The Bordeaux Wine & Food Festival invites food and wine lovers to celebrate both in a wonderful atmosphere. Every two years, a four-day-long event focuses on wines grown in the Bordeaux and Aquitaine Regions, and it’s the perfect way to experience France’s wine culture along with the beautiful architecture which earned it a spot as a UNESCO Heritage Site in 2007.

“Wine Road” is at the center of the festival, where visitors can learn about the rich diversity of regional wines during a 2 kilometer walk along the banks of the Garonne. You’ll discover 80 appellations from the Bordeaux and Aquitaine Region while enjoying some of the best Bordeaux blends, including Saint-Emilion – Fronsac – Pomerol, Médoc & Graves, dry white wines & Rosés de Bordeaux, Bordeaux – Bordeaux Supérieur and Côtes de Bordeaux.

Three event passes are available, ranging from access to a variety of tasting pavilions and vineyard tours, to an exclusive 1885 Wines Classification event at the Paris Universal exhibition, where a maximum of 150 people participate in a session featuring a unique tasting of seven 1855 Grands Crus Classés. The festival will also feature a variety of shows for guests to enjoy.

Every night at 11pm, the facade of the Palais de la Bourse is covered in brilliant, colorful imagery during a spectacular 20-minute music & light show. The Bordeaux Aquitaine National Orchestra will also perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in the heart of Darwin Halles along the right bank of the Garonne. If you’re a fan of urban/street art, make sure to check out the Street Art on the Quays, a project led by the Institut Culturel Bernard Magrez.
